How we obtain consent

When you first visit, we show a cookie banner powered by vanilla-cookieconsent. Non-essential cookies are blocked until you opt in (GDPR-style).

You can change your mind anytime via Cookie preferences in the site footer or the manage panel linked from our Privacy Policy.

Cookie categories

We group cookies into categories that match our consent banner:

• Strictly necessary — consent storage (cc_cookie), security, and core site features. Always active.
• Analytics — optional measurement (e.g. Google Analytics) to understand traffic. Off by default.
• Marketing — optional advertising/remarketing pixels. Off by default; rejecting this category is treated as a California Do Not Sell or Share choice.

Consent storage

We store your choices in a first-party cookie named cc_cookie (up to ~6 months, or until you clear cookies). When we update categories materially, we may bump revision 1 and ask you to choose again.

Third-party cookies

If you enable Analytics or Marketing, third parties listed in the preferences modal may set their own cookies subject to their policies.

TODO(launch): List active vendors (e.g. Google Analytics ID, Meta Pixel) once measurement tools are configured.

Browser controls

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent the consent tool from remembering your choices.
